Back to Basics: Salads & Dressings

Let's continue to examine the tastes and flavors that enhance our food! We will create our own special dressings and drizzle them over salads made in class that can be taken home to share. The focus in this class will be building a great salad. We will will experiment with crunchy, tangy, salty and sweet elements to create a perfect salad from scratch. We will also master the French technique to create a perfect "Vinaigrette." Other salads will include Caprese and Caesar.

To-go containers should be brought from home.

This class runs until 6:00 PM. If your student needs to take the late bus, the instructor will send them home with the ingredients to finish baking at home.
