The Art of Carnitas & Homemade Tortillas
Crispy, golden-edged carnitas with juicy, melt-in-your-mouth centers… this is what taco dreams are made of. Join this chef-led, hands-on cook-along and create a full-flavored from scratch carnita feast in your own kitchen. You will learn to create tender, flavorful carnitas using an electric multi-cooker and learn the essential techniques and ingredients that make this mouthwatering melt-in-your-mouth dish, so delicious.
From there, you’ll learn how to make both soft flour tortillas, and traditional corn tortillas from scratch, gaining confidence in working with different types of dough. To complete the experience, we’ll prepare quick-pickled red onions that add the perfect bright, tangy contrast that brings everything together into the perfect bite.

Equipment Needs: Electric Multi-cooker (any brand), non-stick pan, stand-mixer with paddle & dough hook attachments (optional). Tortilla press is optional.
