Bring a ray of Italian sunshine into your kitchen by creating homemade pasta using a few basic ingredients. Mix by hand or try a food processor. We will use pasta machines to roll and cut or go "low tech" and try rolling/cutting by hand. Compare basic pasta with several recipe variations including spinach pasta. Savor your fresh pasta with classic meat sauce, classic tomato sauce, gorgonzola sauce, and a quick Alfredo sauce. Freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese is a must to taste as well as topping your pasta with almond pesto, classic basil-garlic pesto, and a walnut-basil pesto. A very practical presentation of music theory that includes predicting chord progressions, learning from recordings, and transposing-all expressed in everyday language. This is an ideal follow-up to the “Instant Piano” class and is open to anyone who has a basic understanding of chords on any instrument. Expand your musical horizons, and free yourself from sheet-music dependence, and be the life of the party! Prior experience with chords recommended. A dynamic class blending core work and mobility training with an up-tempo, rhythmic burn. Expect deep core engagement, posture strengthening, and flowing movement that feels athletic, low-impact, and deeply strengthening. Join live on Wednesday mornings or use recordings at your convenience. This class is suitable for all fitness levels, as long as you can get down on the floor and back up.

Pilates exercises on a NEW level. Various small equipment items are used to bring intensity and variety to your Pilates workout. The focus is on fascial movement, standing functional training, balance and strength. Challenging for all levels. Bring to class: Hand towel, mat, large ball (If you do not have a large ball, wait to purchase until after the first class) and water bottle. The Intro class is the building block to your Pilates experience. We concentrate on teaching Pilates principles, safety, and how to use the Reformer, Tower, and Mat. It is important to understand the basic exercises and how our equipment works before moving up a level. Intro exercises include Pelvic Clocks, Bridging, Feet in Straps, Roll Up, Dart, Elephant, and more. Taught by comprehensively trained Pilates trainers and physical therapists.
