Students will learn cooking skills then get to show off what they've learned while they whip up their own dish with help from Chef Kerry Crawford. A panel of judges will sample the dishes and vote for the Top Chef. Students will get to bring home their culinary creations. An apron and plastic storage containers are suggested for participants in this class.

In this camp, students will capture a PC gaming session and add a voice-over to bring their gameplay to life. In the first half of camp, they’ll learn tricks filmmakers use for better shots, practice capturing gameplay, and add sound effects. In the second half, students will edit short videos, adding transitions and a soundtrack. Bring a USB drive (at least 8 GB) on the last day to save your project.

The camp ends with a survival challenge, where participants pack in and out to a wild location, testing their ability to survive with only a day pack. Supervised by EcoElsa staff, this program builds on basic survival knowledge and is perfect for teens who have taken other survival classes. These skills are valuable for survival situations, camping, and outdoor adventures while teaching confidence, self-reliance, teamwork, and problem-solving.
