Miniature Design

Students will design and build small-scale miniature creations using a huge variety of unexpected materials such as bottle caps, corks, marbles, buttons, beads, cardboard, wire, fabric scraps, and other found objects.  The focus of this crafty afternoon will be on creativity, invention, and transforming ordinary materials into tiny objects, creatures, furniture, foods, displays, or fantasy pieces. This class encourages experimentation, problem-solving, and imaginative design.
