A summer in person program designed to build confidence, sharpen skills, and start middle school ready to succeed. Led by current Wayzata Grade 5 teachers, who know 6th grade expectations, each session blends math, reading, writing, and fun team challenges in an engaging, hands-on environment. Students may register for Session A, Session B, or both, with each session offering unique activities and experiences that extend learning and spark curiosity. Session AMath Challenges: Support and enrichment in fractions and decimals, multiplication and division, through interactive games and small-group instruction.Read Strong: Build fluency, spark discussion, and boost confidence through engagement with a high-interest book.Beyond the Classroom: Develop goal-setting, study and organizational skills, and problem-solving through fun, collaborative escape-room challenges. DASH Sports Summer Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Basketball, and Phy Ed Games. Key sports skills will be taught and practiced in all 3 sports so athletes will come out of camp with a great understanding of key skill components and gameplay of each sport. Camp ends with games/scrimmages the final day for each sport, where athletes can showcase their skills. Campers should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle, snack and wear athletic shoes and clothing. All equipment is provided.

Get ready to sing, dance, and act in this high-energy musical theater class! Over four fun-filled days, students will learn the fundamentals of performing and learn choreography for a popular musical theater song. Through theater games, vocal exercises, and choreography, young performers will build confidence, teamwork, and stage presence. The session will culminate in an exciting final performance for family and friends. No prior experience needed—just bring your energy and enthusiasm! Parents and family are invited to attend the last 30 minutes of the Thursday class for a special performance.

DASH Sports officially licensed NFL flag football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills. Each player has the option to add an official NFL Flag Jersey and flag belts to keep ($30 additional). Players that add the jersey and belts will pick the jersey of their favorite NFL team at the time of registration. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a snack (spikes/cleats, and mouthguards are optional). All other equipment is provided.

Through guided photo walks and creative challenges, kids will develop their observation skills and learn to tell stories through their images. Kids will experiment with collage-making, scrapbooking, and creative photo displays to showcase their favorite images. Perfect for young nature lovers and aspiring photographers, this camp encourages kids to connect with the world around them, develop their artistic eye, and build confidence behind the lens.

Are you ready to bring your creative vision to life on canvas? In this class, you can learn to transform any image or sketch you bring in into a stunning acrylic masterpiece! Under the expert guidance of studio artist Mckennan Streeter, you'll develop the skills to create gallery-worthy paintings.

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. DASH Sports Summer Pickleball camps provide participants with an introductory experience to the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. Emphasis is on technique and game play. Key elements of serving, returning, volleys, overheads, and lobbing will be taught and practiced. Camp ends with games on the final day. Participants should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and snack. Campers also should bring a pickleball paddle (if you don’t have one, we will provide paddles). Balls and all other equipment are provided.

In RC Wars, teams of students will build their own Remote Control vehicles to race and battle against other teams. Students will need to design their vehicles to not only be faster and stronger than other teams’ creations, but also better than purchased RC Cars and Drones! RC Wars will feature land and air races, obstacle courses and more as students learn mechanical and electrical building skills in an energetic and exciting environment. Students can choose to bring a drone home for an additional fee.

Hack into the code of classic games! Students will learn Java coding skills while modifying games such as Asteroids, Tetris, Snake, and more! Coding beginners and more experienced students will love this class. This fun class is our staff and students' favorite codling class. Java is a text-based language, so students should have good keyboarding and basic computer skills. Bring a USB drive to save your games.

Create your own bath and body goodies in Self-Care Studio! Students will make salt scrubs, custom soaps, sprays, and more, turning simple ingredients into colorful, fun, and totally unique creations.

DASH Sports Summer soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense) training and skill-based games. Players will be challenged and grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day where athletes can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack (spikes and shin guards are optional). Balls are provided.

Make a variety of egg rolls, samosas and dipping sauces in class. On the last day of class enjoy creating Dubai Chocolate cookies! Receive a culinary diploma at the conclusion of class. Class includes all supplies, demonstration, hands-on and tasting.

Experience the flavors and fun of Mexico in Taste of México! Students will cook traditional recipes, learn Spanish words and phrases, and create a classroom market, discovering Mexican culture through hands-on cooking and interactive activities.
