Unplug from the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in the serene, stress-reducing beauty of the forest. Reconnect with Nature: Slow down and awaken your senses as you explore the forest's calming embrace. Feel how nature’s fractals, sounds, and sensations reduce your stress and anxiety, and enhance your focus. Our guided walks offer unique invitations that encourage you to experience the forest in deeply personal and transformative ways. Mindful Moments: Leave your phone behind and rekindle your connection with the natural world and yourself. Share your observations and insights with fellow participants, creating lasting memories and a sense of community. Guests should wear boots/shoes, clothing/gear appropriate for weather. Walk will be held in light rain, but not in thunderstorms. Please wear/bring mosquito/tick repellent and sunscreen if desired. Or noticed that your shoulders and upper back are too rounded forward? You’ll learn simple techniques to improve posture and stand straighter. We’ll do exercises to help flatten the upper back, un-round shoulders and flatten your midsection. Learn how to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and how to re-gain bone mass. We’ll discuss the latest research findings on nutrition, minerals and trace minerals needed for bone health; foods that help and/or harm your bones and more. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. There are many benefits to having stronger muscles – they boost metabolism; maintain/increase bone density, make daily tasks easier and help you age with quality and grace. These multi-tasking exercises can fit easily into even the busiest schedules. It is a wonderful thing to be strong, fit and functional.
