Stitch & Layer: Textile Art Studio

Create your own textured fabric art using stitching, layering, and mixed materials. In this class, students will combine fabric, yarn, fringe, lace, beads, charms, and found textiles to build a piece that feels personal, expressive, and visually rich.

Instead of focusing on perfect sewing, this class is all about experimenting with texture—loosely stitching, layering materials, and adding details to create something unique. Students can go for a cozy, vintage, grunge, soft, or abstract aesthetic, or create something completely their own.

Projects can be turned into wall art, patches, mini hangings, or decorative pieces. No sewing experience needed—this is about creativity, not perfection.

Each student will leave with a finished textile piece and the skills to keep exploring this style on their own.
