Math Academy: Competitive Math for 4th & 5th Grade
Number Sense & Patterns
Build problem-solving, mathematical thinking, and competition-readiness skills in this 8-week program for students who love math and want to be challenged. Students will dig into number sense and pattern recognition as they explore sequences, factors, divisibility, and the kinds of numerical puzzles often found in national math competitions. Through engaging lessons and collaborative problem-solving, students develop the sustained reasoning skills that competitive math rewards. The program weaves in Math Olympiad-style challenges and live team matches on the AreteLabs ClassMatch platform throughout the session, culminating in an in-house championship tournament during the final week with awards in both 4th- and 5th-grade divisions. This focused academic program is designed for students who enjoy sustained problem-solving and want to be challenged. Students should come prepared to work hard, persist through difficult problems, and contribute respectfully to a team environment. Open to motivated 4th- and 5th-grade students who enjoy mathematical challenges.
