Transitioning to Kindergarten

This presentation is an opportunity for parents or caregivers with children transitioning into kindergarten next fall to connect and learn skills and strategies to set them up for success in elementary school. We will identify common emotions and feelings experienced during this transition and share tips for readiness. Time will be spent supporting caregivers in identifying areas where children may struggle. We will share strategies for transition, co-regulation skills, and tools for supporting your child's social-emotional development.

Kish offers school-based therapy for elementary-aged children. She believes in using a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and client-focused approach to therapy. She understands the importance of healthy relationships and aspires to create a safe environment where children and their families can learn and grow together. Outside of work, Kish enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, reading, and making memories with her family.

Lilly provides school-based therapy services for elementary-aged children, adolescents, and their families. She believes in utilizing a strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach to therapy and strives to create a safe, warm, and collaborative space for clients. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to music, exercising, and spending time with her cats, family, and friends.
