Intro to Trout Fishing - Live on the Stream
This five-hour, live fly fishing class on a trout stream begins with a one-hour introduction covering gear, flies, rigging, and knots. You will then receive fly-casting lessons on both dry ground and in the river. Finally, you will put on waders and boots to fish for trout under the watchful eye of your guide and instructor, Scott Harness.
All equipment is supplied.
This class will take place at either Kinnickinnic or Rush River in Wisconsin, which are about 1-1.5 hours away from the Twin Cities. More details will be sent to registered participants closer to the start date.
*A 1-day Wisconsin fishing license and trout stamp will need to be purchased prior to class for approximately $25. Please wait to purchase until you receive the location and welcome email with more details, approx. 1 week before class.
